AUGUST 18th MEETING

 

Cross Timbers Rotarian Joe Gil presents a check for $20,000 to club president Gary Beadles. Joe is the director of the annual Le Tour de Vin wine tasting event and he coordinates all activities of the annual fundraiser sponsored by three Norman Rotary clubs. The Center for Children and Families, Inc. (C.C.F.I.) is the 2014 and 2015 grant recipient.  The grant is helping to create a new Children's Therapeutic Area which serves children and youth who have experienced child abuse and neglect.

 

  Mr. Angelo Lombardo, city Transportation Engineer with 22 years of service in Norman, updated the club on many public works projects around Norman such as streets, highways, and other projects.
