CONGRATULATIONS TO RON AND JETTA BURTON

Cross Timbers Rotary Club president Sara Hildenbrand is proud to make the following annoucement: 

"Today (August 8, 2011), is a special day in the life of Rotary and our Club.  I just received word that Ron Burton, Norman Rotary Club, has been selected by the Presidential Selection Committee to serve as Rotary Internationals President for 2013 - 2014!  Wow! What a wonderful announcement to get to make!  With Ron coming in as RI's President,  that means our club, Cross Timbers, is home to 2013-2014, RI's First Lady, Jetta Burton!  Ron and Jetta have given so much of their lives together in service to Rotary, and we simply could not be more proud of them or happy for them.  Please extend your congratulations to them, and we will begin plans for hosting a formal celebration on their behalf."
