CCFI CHECK PRESENTATION

Erin Barnhart is the Mission Advancement Director for the Center for Children and Families, Inc. (CCFI).  She received a check on behalf of CCFI for $50,000 as a result of proceeds from the 12th annual Le Tour de Vin fundraiser.  This event is a powerful collaboration of the Cross Timbers, Sooner, and Norman Rotary clubs to raise money for various charities over the years.

This year’s funds will be used to renovate a children’s therapeutic area that also offers out-of-school enrichment programs, parenting classes, support groups, supervised visits, a kitchen, and a baby pantry.  A therapeutic playground, designed with input by Rotarians from the three clubs, is also on the drawing boards.

The sharing of fine foods, over 200 domestic and foreign wines, and a lifestyle auction, creates an exceptional event that raises money to do good in our community.  Since its inception, Le Tour De Vin has contributed over $650,000 to local nonprofit agencies and projects.
